Nutrition is a part of every person's life and plays a vital role in our physical and mental health. As a career dietitian, I'm passionate about helping others learn the importance of how nutrition can help them be and feel their best.
For over 13 years, I've been blessed to work with both children and adults as they implement healthy habits into their day to day lives. I spent 5 years at the Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH) weight management clinic helping families improve their children's overall health through targeted nutrition counseling, family focused dietary changes, and motivational interviewing. I was then lucky enough to transition to the ACH Eating Disorder clinic to further my passion for helping clients overcome eating disorders through nutritional education and strategic meal planning while focusing on reviving a positive self image. Additionally, I spent over 4 years working with a private practice therapy clinic to help clients improve their physical and mental health.
My goal is to educate each person I work with on the importance of nutritious living and positive body image. I desire to see all my clients take these lessons and implement them into a lifetime of results.
This can be a one-time visit or follow-up visits at any interval to best meet your needs. Your first visit will be an hour long meeting to evaluate your dietary habits along with your other lifestyle routines. After a thorough assessment, we will set up an attainable plan together to help you meet your nutrition needs. Follow up sessions will be established on a personalized basis in order to help you have the most success.
After a detailed assessment is completed, a one-time recommendation for calories (macronutrients) will be made in order to help you best meet your health goals.

Insurance and Self Pay
I am currently credentialed with the following insurance companies:
- Ambetter, Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Qualchoice, UHC, and UMR
There are several insurance policies that do have coverage for a visit with a dietitian. Most policies now cover a visit for preventative purposes. If you are interested in your insurance covering a visit, I can help provide guidance to see if your policy does cover your nutrition visits.
Follow up visits can be any time frame from weekly to 3 months or anything in between. A follow up visit is helpful to maintain accountability and support in helping maintain lifestyle changes.
